Classes in various disciplines of wushu imply a differentiated approach to the development of physical qualities and load planning. The purpose of the study: to conduct a comparative analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) and statokinetic stability (CCU) of children engaged in wushu at the stage of initial training. Methodology. HRV and stabilography indicators of 8-9-year-old boys engaged in wushu at the stage of initial training were studied. The results of the study. We have identified the presence of a more pronounced centralization of HRV management, which may be a manifestation of the need to involve suprasegmental structures to maintain the SKU, and possibly reflects the formation of a functional system that provides a higher quality of performing movements associated with the development of coordination abilities in wushu. Conclusions. The results of the study indicate that HRV assessment can be used for dynamic control of the effectiveness of the training process, differentiation of loads and has prospects for sports selection and selection of sports specialization in this sport
