The problem of life balance or a "double" career, including successful implementation not only in sports, but also in other areas - education, family, work, etc. it is among the priorities in modern sports. Therefore, the study of the "dual career" in Russian athletes, the identification of mechanisms and conditions for its implementation is necessary for a productive combination of sports and educational activities, for building a different professional career after the completion of a sports career, as well as for a positive impact on the stereotype of perception of the "athlete".
