The formation of functional literacy of students is an urgent task of the modem educational system. In this regard, the problem of diagnosing and monitoring this quality in students arises. The purpose of the study is to develop a structure of control and measurement materials for the intermediate assessment of the individual level of achievement by junior schoolchildren of the planned results of mastering the interdisciplinary program “Formation of universal educational activities: working with information”, the main educational program of primary general education in the sections “Searching for information and reading comprehension”, “Transformation and interpretation of information”, “Evaluation of information” and functional literacy (reading, mathematical, natural science) using local history resources. In the course of the study, methodological features of the development of control and measurement materials using local history resources were identified to assess the formation of meta-subject results and functional literacy of junior schoolchildren and the types of diagnostic tasks were determined
