The scientific article examines the conceptual foundations of the project method of teaching in vocational education, which are an important aspect for stimulating active and practice-oriented learning, and as a result, the formation of students' personal project culture. Substantiation of the effectiveness of the project method at the present stage defines the basic concepts and principles that form the basic basis of the learning process by the project method in the context of the formation of project culture. The article presents the results of a pedagogical experiment proving the effectiveness of the method in modern conditions of vocational education. The project method is reasoned by the ability of students to develop not only professional competencies, but also soft skills, such as communication skills, time management, teamwork and self-organization, which contributes to the successful formation of components of personal project culture.
