The purpose of the study is to substantiate the content of subject training for highly qualified female athletes in group rhythmic gymnastics, aimed at developing the expressiveness of movements with an object. Research methods and organization. A comprehensive set of research methods was employed: analysis of specialized literature and program documents, surveys, pedagogical observation, expert evaluation methods, pedagogical experiments, and mathematical statistics methods. The study, conducted at the Center for Sports Training of the Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health in St. Petersburg from February to December 2024, involved highly qualified athletes in group rhythmic gymnastics exercises. Research results and conclusions. It has been proven that the effectiveness of the competitive activities of group exercise gymnasts is ensured by the diversity of the means of motor expressiveness with objects, and the increase in their arsenal is achieved through the combined application of object training and musical-rhythmic preparation.
