The insufficient level of communication skills formation has been identified. All indicators are at an average level or below average. Preschool children experienced difficulties in the emotional sphere (recognition and proper demonstration of emotions, emotional states), in the social sphere, and they also found it challenging to engage actively in communication with peers and adults. This may negatively affect the adaptation of children to new conditions and the establishment of new communication contacts. The presented results of the experimental study highlight the characteristics of the formation of social and communicative competence in preschool children and the ways to address this issue.
