Model of the formation of motivation for self-development and self-improvement among correspondence students studying in the "Physical Education" profile

Abstract (English):
The purpose of the study is to develop a model for forming motivation towards self-development and self-improvement in correspondence students studying in the 'Physical Education' profile. Research methods and organization. The study employed literature analysis, surveys, psychodiagnostic methods, pedagogical testing of physical fitness levels, expert evaluation, and statistical methods. The research was conducted at the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Kuzbass Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute, Kemerovo State University. Research results and conclusions. A model for developing motivation for self-development and self-improvement among students has been tested. It is recommended that the obtained data be taken into account in the professional training of correspondence students in the 'Physical Education' program to enhance pedagogical skills and professional competence.
