A RESEARCH INTO THE FACTORS DETERMINING THE CHOICE OF CONFLICT BEHAVIOUR STRATEGIES BY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract (English):
School aggression is a growing problem for public health professionals, clinicians, policy makers, teachers and the general public. It is a multifaceted problem that has biological, psychological, social and environmental roots. The article presents the results of the study of manifestations of aggressiveness in conflict situations in high school students using the method "Aggressive Behaviour", authors: E.P. Ilyin, P.A. Kovalev. The results of the study revealed a minimum of manifestations of direct physical aggression in the subjects and the most frequent manifestations: direct and indirect verbal aggression. Intemperance is diagnosed in those students who scored more than 20 points, such students made up 25%. Further we have considered the factors that most often influence the choice of behaviour in conflicts among schoolchildren, namely, what is the root of aggression manifestation in a conflict situation. Most often it is family relations, social circle, consumed content and hobbies. Also the environment and the information field in the country have a significant weight of influence.
