The purpose of the study is the formation of special competencies of physical education and sports specialists to work with students with disabilities in their health status. The study was conducted on the basis of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with the support of the Potanin Foundation. The developed advanced training course "Adaptive student sports – a blessing for all" includes: an additional professional program for teachers and coaches of the university "Specialist in adaptive student sports", master classes on types of adaptive sports, a Strategic session. The training took place in a remote format. In the context of modern challenges, there is a need for constant professional improvement of specialists in order to implement effective physical education and training processes for students with different levels of health.
