The article discusses the issues of design and research activities of a school physical education teacher. The purpose of the work is to identify the means and methods, directions of design and research activities, as well as to increase the effectiveness of the research activities of a physical education teacher. The practical significance of the work lies in obtaining data that will help schools to organize more effectively the design and research activities of a physical education teacher when planning their work.
