Features of adaptation of foreign students to the conditions of the university

Abstract:
The article discusses the features of adaptation of foreign students to the conditions of the university. It was found that high values were found in terms of adaptation to the study group, and in terms of adaptation to educational activities, the level was above average. This indicates certain difficulties associated with understanding the semantic part of speech, tasks, as well as cultural features. The indicators of psychological well-being "Positive Relationships", "Goals in Life", "Autonomy" are formed in foreign students at an above-average level. And the indicators related to personal development, self-acceptance, interaction with the social environment correspond to the average values. Also, statistically significant correlations were revealed between the studied indicators. It has been established that the higher the indicators of psychological well-being are formed, the faster and easier the process of adaptation of foreign students to the conditions of a university in another country, as well as to social conditions.
