For modem life, the characteristic features are low physical activity of both the adult population and young people, as well as exposure to many adverse factors that contribute to stress, reduced sleep quality and deterioration in general well-being. At the same time, there is a need to compensate for the lack of movement and prevent physical and emotional exhaustion. The use of yoga practices is considered as a means of strengthening mental and physical health. The data of the survey, which was attended by 53 people with different lengths of experience in yoga, are given. As a result of the survey, a positive effect of yoga classes on the physical and emotional state of those involved was revealed
