The rapid introduction of military technologies designed to ensure the security and sovereignty of the state presupposes the presence in the relevant positions of military personnel of specialists capable of actively using the latest scientific achievements in practice and mastering the methodology for implementing the innovation process. The purpose of the study is to develop and substantiate a model of the process of training military specialists in knowledge-intensive professions for innovative activities. The proposed structural and content model contains levels, structural links, stages and main characteristics that reflect the authors’ views on solving educational problems on the issue under study. The authors of the study suggest that the presented model can serve as a certain guideline in the issue of training military personnel in knowledge-intensive professions for innovative activities
