The article reveals the foundations of the moral formation of student youth. This made it possible to determine the essential features of formation as the end result and to determine the criteria in the form of a pedagogical system of personality formation, which includes upbringing, education, training, and development. In this case, the entire upbringing and educational process of the moral formation of students is aimed at achieving a specific goal - the formation of moral experience among students. The psychological and pedagogical model of the formation of moral experience among students developed by us is a system of interdependent elements and contains the goal, objectives, methodological approaches, principles, mechanisms of formation and their functions, psychological and pedagogical conditions, methods, forms and means, as well as criteria and levels of formation moral experience
